Our first 3D movie!

Last night Gino came home from work and had stopped by Walmart to pick up more Tylenol for Jayden and a few other odds and ends. So, he comes in and wakes up Jayden with a surprise! Gino bought Jayden Journey to the Center of the Earth in 3D!!! If you have a bluray you can watch it in 3D!! So, we all sat in the living room with our 3D glasses and Ella laughed at us and we all watched our first 3D movie.

IT WAS AWESOME!!! It really looked like things were coming right at you.

I can’t believe that Christmas is in 5 DAYS! Where oh where did the time go? I had plans on taking the kids out today and getting my shopping for Gino done, but Jayden’s fever is STILL lingering on. This morning it was at 99.9… so we’ll see what happens with that.

Tonight is the Nativity Lighting over at the church. We’ve been looking forward to it for a while now, and Gino even has a friend that was going to come, and I’m scared that we won’t be able to make it. I hope my Jayden starts feeling better soon!

My Night With Edward…..

Was AWESOME!!!!!!!!!! So, Emily and I went together and met up with Kari & baby Brady (he was such a good baby through the movie!!! YAY for Kari) and ended up seeing a few other girls from our ward there, so we all sat together. There were a few parts in the movie that I giggled, okay LAUGHED! But, all in all I really did love the movie. It moved so fast, which to me was a bit of a downfall, but I am happy with the actors, which I didn’t think I would be. It was really high schoolish, but that’s what the book was intended to be. Then a bunch of us old people became obsessed, forgot about that small detail and made the story into what we pictured it as… and I never pictured it being so high school. I can’t wait for New Moon to come out! Tonight I’ll be seeing it AGAIN with Gino. Then we can start listening to New Moon on CD ~ Gino’s into the Twilight Saga ~ come on…. you know you wish your husband was involved with it to 😉

Don’t mind the quality of the photo…. UGH it was taken with my crappy P&S and the quality SUCKS…. but we so had to have a picture of our night out!!

2 Day Movie Premiere

I have a 6 year old son who love Japanese animation. I think he got this from his Auntie. When my sister used to babysit for me they would watch Japanese animation the entire time. The characters in Japanese manga are always powerful and have names that stand for something. Jayden and I have come up with a Japanese name for him and it is Jeiden. It’s close to Jayden and makes him feel cool!! We pronounce it “Jeedun”.

Jayden is going to having something fun to look forward to on his last day of school. For 2 days and 2 days only, Bleach the Movie will be in theaters!! June 11th & June 12th is when you can go and see this movie in a theater near you. To check the locations that it will be shown, you can go here.

P.S. I Love You

We sat down last night to watch this movie and I had already fallen in love with these characters as I had read the book. I cried from the beginning til the end. I’ve been having issues with death as it is and I really think I shouldn’t have watched this movie. I think it all started when Robert died. I began dwelling on death. I’m scared of someone I love dieing. I’m scared to die and leave the ones I love. I can’t even fathom the idea of not having my husband next to me. He’s my best friend. When something bad happens, it’s Him I go to. When something good happens, it’s Him I go to. I never want to lose Him. I love Him.

I know that none of us make it out of this world alive. It’s all in God’s hands and I know things will get better for me in this department as my faith is grows. As my testimony grows.

As for the movie, they butchered the book. It was a wonderful movie and I really did love it, but the book is 100 times better – but isn’t that always the case?

STARDUST

This movie was amazing! I wasn’t too excited at first when my husband grabbed it off the shelf at Hollywood Video last night, but thought it would be a great “family” movie for us to watch all together. So, we popped our popcorn and got all comfy with our blankets and had family movie time. This movie was great! I loved it, Gino loved it, most importantly Jayden LOVED it!! If you haven’t seen this movie yet I highly suggest it. This definitely will be a movie that we will be buying.
